Robert OKD
1998年大阪生まれ。幼少期は祖父の車で流れるスティーヴィー・ワンダーに体を揺らす。中学の時にテレビで観たクリスタルキングに感動し、全アルバムを聴き込む。クリスタルキングの田中昌之がRobert Plantをリスペクトしていることを知り、Led Zeppelinを聴くようになる。高校時代は周りに趣味の合うバンド仲間がおらず、SNSを通じて知り合ったギタリストとセッションをしていた。大学入学後はサークルBritish Rock研究会で精力的に活動する。
2019年、京都でのイベント出演をきっかけに大阪ツェッペリンのメンバーと知り合い、セッションをするようになる。2023年8月に初めて大阪ツェッペリンのメンバーとしてBed Zettulin主催のイベントZEP FESⅡ出演。2023年秋にLad Zeppelinの萬歳と知り合い、2024年2月にLad Zeppelin加入。
2025年、自らのリーダープロジェクトであるRobert OKD’s Zep Cult/Quart.を始動させる。
Born in Osaka, Japan in 1998. In my early childhood, I listened to a lot of foreign music in my grandfather’s car, including Stievie Wonder, Animals, etc. When I was 14, I became a fan of Crystal King, a Japanese band in 80’s, and I listened to all of their albums. I learned one of the vocalists of the band, Masahiro Tanaka was a great follower of Robert Plant, and started to listen to Led Zeppelin. During my high school years, I was playing with an online friend guitarist because there was few friends who listened to 70’s rock music at school. Since I became a university student, I have been playing a lot of gigs with members of British Rock Society at university.
In 2019, I played as a vocalist of a Zep tribute band for an event in Kyoto. It was then that I met a member of Osaka Zeppelin, the first Zep tribute band I belong to. In September 2023, I performed in a gig for the first time as a member of Osaka Zeppelin. In Autumn 2023, I met Banzai Hiroto, the leader of Lad Zeppelin, and joined the band.
In 2025, I started my own project, Robert OKD’s Zep Cult/Quart.
